Steve joined Raymond James in July 2018 after spending 14 years at UBS as a Senior Vice President for Wealth Management. His extensive industry experience stems from finance roles with technology companies, corporate finance, personal financial planning and wealth management.
Steve takes pleasure in problem solving and aims to provide clarity and understanding on how investments allow clients to achieve what matters most to them. He enjoys breaking down the complexities of the financial industry but he also understands the importance of simply listening to clients.
People are often surprised to hear Steve’s advice about when it comes to saving money, but he will tell you “today matters as much as the future.” He believes that a solid knowledge base of his clients is imperative to assist in reaching their goals. With his keen attention to detail, he strives to be an unbiased sounding board for any client questions.
Steve currently maintains the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR designations. Steve earned both his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1993 and his M.B.A. in 1998 from Bentley University.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
The National Association of Plan Advisors, Part of the American Retirement Association, owns and authorizes the use of the CPFA credentials to individuals that maintain compliance with the initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Steve and his wife Kristin reside in Hopkinton, MA and have been married since the turn of the century. They have two wonderful children and have started to see free time return to their lives as Owen enters college and Olivia embarks on obtaining her driving credentials. While not working, Steve enjoys competing in recreational sports and card games.
