Kelsea began her career in financial services at Fidelity Investments after earning her bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island. She was drawn to wealth management because it offered a combination she knew she wanted in her career: analytical problem-solving and meaningful interaction with people. Financial planning gave her the opportunity to use both—working through complex financial decisions while building relationships and helping clients accomplish goals that matter to them.
Kelsea joined Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors in 2020 and has continued to grow her role within the firm. As a Wealth Advisor, she works closely with clients across all areas of their financial lives, with experience in comprehensive financial planning, investment management, tax planning, estate planning, options strategies, and complex trading. She believes the best advice comes from understanding the entire picture rather than viewing any financial decision in isolation.
What Kelsea enjoys most about financial planning is that no two days—or clients—are exactly alike. She approaches each situation as a new puzzle to solve, balancing proactive long-term planning with the ability to respond quickly when life changes unexpectedly. Whether working through a complex strategy or helping a client reach a goal they’ve been planning toward for years, she finds the greatest fulfillment in seeing those plans become reality.
Her approach is highly personal and hands-on. Kelsea believes understanding a client means knowing more than what’s on their financial statements. She wants to hear about the grandchildren, the new job opportunity, the upcoming trip, the hobby they’ve picked up, and the things they’re excited or worried about. Those conversations allow her to better understand what clients truly value and build financial strategies around the lives they actually want to live.
Kelsea takes the responsibility of being an advisor seriously. She recognizes the level of trust required to place your life savings and financial future in someone else’s hands and believes that trust has to be continually earned. That means being proactive when opportunities arise, available when challenges occur, and willing to step in when a client needs help—even when the situation doesn’t happen conveniently during business hours.
As her responsibilities and impact within Boston Harbor continued to grow, Kelsea was promoted to the firm’s leadership team in 2024 and now serves as Director of Client Services in addition to her role as a Wealth Advisor. In this capacity, she helps train and support advisors, develop firmwide best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead operational initiatives. The role reflects her passion not only for growing as an advisor herself, but for helping strengthen the team and continually improve the experience Boston Harbor delivers to its clients.
Kelsea particularly values Boston Harbor’s team-based culture and the willingness of its advisors to share expertise, challenge one another, and help each other grow. She believes that collaboration ultimately leads to better advice and a stronger experience for the families the firm serves.
Kelsea earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Rhode Island and holds the SIE and Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations.
I’m the youngest of three and grew up in a house that was equal parts loving, social, and incredibly competitive. Expectations were high, and whether it was school, sports, or probably a board game that didn’t need to be taken quite so seriously, I learned early to challenge myself and work hard for the things I wanted. That drive has definitely stuck with me. I love a challenge, enjoy figuring things out, and have always been someone who pushes myself toward whatever comes next.
My husband, Brendan, and I met in high school, and after growing up together in many ways, we got married in 2025 and welcomed our son, Keegan, in 2026. Brendan is a Worcester firefighter, and our family is rounded out by our two very loved dogs, Bentley and Tony. Life these days is busy, a little chaotic, and exactly how we like it.
We’re not particularly good at sitting still. We love to travel and experience new places, but some of my favorite days are much simpler than that. A weekend lunch, a trip for ice cream, a walk on a nice day, or finding somewhere new to explore is usually enough of an excuse to get everyone out of the house. And whether Brendan likes it or not, “everyone” usually includes the dogs—despite the extra planning, logistics, and occasional chaos that comes with bringing them along. Somehow, I always decide it’s worth it.
Dogs have always been a big part of our lives. Over the years, we’ve fostered more than 30 dogs and helped them find their forever homes. We’re also active in our community through Brendan’s career as a firefighter and enjoy participating in many of the events that come along with being part of the fire service.
Family is at the center of most of what we do. We’re very close with our extended family and don’t take for granted the village we have around us. We spend a lot of time together, whether it’s skiing, golfing, watching football, celebrating something, or just ending up at someone’s house for no particular reason.
Becoming a mom has added a completely new dimension to my life, but I’ve also learned that I don’t want any one part of my life to define all of it. I love being Keegan’s mom, I love my career, I love being social and active, and I also appreciate the rare opportunity to do absolutely nothing. I believe there’s a balance to everything—even if that balance looks a little different from one week to the next.
I’ve always been the planner, builder, and communicator in my family. Give me a problem to solve, a trip to organize, a puzzle to finish, or something no one quite knows how to figure out, and I’m probably going to take it on. I’m an extrovert by nature and genuinely enjoy connecting with people from all different walks of life. Some of my favorite relationships are with people whose lives look completely different from mine.
At the end of the day, the things that mean the most to me are pretty simple: my family, making a difference where I can, continuing to challenge myself, and building a life that leaves room for all of it. I don’t think life has to fit neatly into one box—and ours certainly doesn’t. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
