Planning peacetime and wartime missions in the U.S. Army, John found that the success of an operation hinges on two critical components, attention to detail in the planning process and the team executing the plan. These principles have become the foundation for the team he’s built and how he works with clients.
John focuses on retirement planning with a deep understanding of the U.S. tax code. He believes that in retirement, it’s not about what you make; it’s about what you keep. Therefore, his planning work with retirees and those nearing retirement emphasizes tax-efficient investing and distribution strategies.
John spent eight years on active duty as a Diver in the U.S. Army with two combat deployments. Upon his honorable discharge in 2012, he started his financial service career with Edward Jones. Over his six years at Edward Jones, John received multiple awards and held numerous leadership positions before joining Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors in 2018.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Ashford University. He holds the Series 7, Series 66, life, accident, and health insurance licenses.
John lives in Plymouth with his wife, Kelly, their three pugs, and their cat. He loves his work and is a constant student of the business. When he’s not working, you can find him at the beach with Kelly, fishing for Stripers off the coast of MA, or planning his next endurance event.
