Jeff McAdams
Compliance Analyst, Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors

Jeff joined the Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors team as a Compliance Analyst in 2020. His role is vital to the success of our team and efficient operations. He is responsible for analyzing risk and handles the principal approval on various matters such as trades and essential forms that route through our office daily.

Jeff is a critical partner with each of our financial advisors and their teams, who he considers his clients and aims to make the process seamless for them. By properly preparing our advisors from a compliance perspective, Jeff ensures our organization is up-to-date with the rules and regulations in a continually changing and complex industry. The complexities that naturally occur within his position require him to be meticulous when reviewing new information and relaying that information to our team. Jeff's coworkers know him as a reliable and trusted source who can break down intricate details, and he is always looking out for the best for our organization and clients.

Before joining our team, Jeff held several positions with Raymond James, beginning in 2011, at the headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL., such as a Senior Compliance Auditor, Transition Consultant, and Senior Risk Analyst. Jeff also served in the United States Army for over five years through three deployments: Afghanistan (2003), Iraq (2005) and Qatar (2007). He earned a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organization Leadership in 2011 from St. Petersburg College.

My wife, Rachel, and I live in Tampa, FL, and enjoy keeping active outside of work. We love to attend sporting events, especially as season ticket holders for the Buccaneers and Lightning. We also like to take any opportunity to travel and explore new places and cultures. As much as we enjoy going out, we also value our time at home with our four-legged children, our dogs Malibu and Winston, and our cats, Kiwi and Mangos.
