As the President of Newbury Investment Partners and the resident RJFS Branch Manager, Fred J. Shuster utilizes his skills to advise, guide and educate clients in their financial journey.
After attaining an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Fred completed his Master’s Degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Fred found that his passion to serve individuals, family and community was best applied by counseling individuals and families towards their financial security.
Fred began his career in the securities industry in 1986 at PaineWebber in Worcester, MA. Fred has earned his CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst) certification as well as his Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 licenses and his Life and Health insurance license. Fred has been recognized for his dedication and service to clients and high levels of professional performance by attaining a position on the Raymond James Executive Council every year since 2008.* With 35 years in financial services, Fred brings an abundance of experience and perspective to the benefit of his clients.
*Membership is based on prior fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually.
Fred was born, raised and currently lives in Worcester. He is married with 2 adult children. Fred’s propensity for community leadership is reflected in his personal life where he has served as President of Solomon Schechter Day School and continues to serve Temple Emmanuel Sinai and Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts on various committees and projects. Fred diligently supports many charities and has dedicated considerable time, energy and funding to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and its annual One Walk. Fred believes in this cause whole heartedly and matches all contributions raised annually by himself and his team by 25%.
